More Coverage Options
Our carrier partners offer coverage for seasonal and secondary properties when the home is not homestead, or not owner occupied for a period of 3 months or less, or rented to others for a period of 7 days or more. Ask your agent as restrictions may apply.
A Scheduled Personal Property policy provides additional coverage to protect expensive or treasured assets, such as jewelry, art, antiques, and high-end electronics, ensuring their full value is covered in case of theft, loss, or damage. Items on this policy are listed or "scheduled", with each item typically appraised and insured for its agreed-upon value.
Depending on the carrier eligibility, this coverage may be added at no additional cost for basic coverage however, increased limits may be available for a nominal fee. Given the high cost of installing and repairing screen enclosures surrounding your patio or pool, this insurance helps mitigate potential financial burdens following unexpected damage due to named storms.
Catastrophic Ground Cover Collapse as defined by statute is covered by the basic homeowner's insurance policy. Sinkhole Loss Coverage is typically excluded, but may be purchased for an additional premium upon inspection.
